Rebecca’s expertise (and her passion!) is visual storytelling — she translates who her clients are as a couple and how they want their event to feel into a seamless, aesthetically beautiful, and unforgettable experience. It’s no surprise then that her favorite nicknames by former clients have been “wedding whisperer” and “planning guru” (although “The Pfiffinator” comes in at a close 3rd). The way she approaches event design is to start by simply getting to know her clients — usually over (delicious!) wine in her favorite neighborhood wine shop. As an event producer, Rebecca came to see her work with couples as the most rewarding part of her job during her tenure managing the wedding rental program at Headlands Center for the Arts. She’s been planning weddings, benefits, and corporate events in Northern California since 2005. And she still wakes up every morning amazed and humbled that she gets to be a part of one of the most important days in someone’s life. It’s an honor she doesn’t take for granted.

Event Production

Willa Via is an elementary teacher who delights in all things rainbow and covered in sparkles. She first fell in love with the wedding planning industry while attending the University of San Diego and snagged herself a job as the Assistant Event Coordinator for a local event planning company. Flash forward a few years when she spends the majority of her time inside her colorful 2nd grade classroom, she has only fallen more in love with the idea of event planning since putting together her own wedding in August 2016. Willa realized that if on the day of her wedding she would rather continue fine tuning the table arrangements than get her hair and makeup done, her love of beautifully crafted weddings could not be ignored. She can usually be seen scouring the pages of eBay, Craigslist, or Etsy for one-of-a-kind tchotchkes that can be added to her craft box marked “party time”. Willa is thrilled to be joining the Be Hitched team as the Marketing + Event Production intern and can’t wait to see what the season has in store!

Christina hails from a background in finance but currently is tapping into her more creative side, thus bringing her to Be Hitched! She grew up in the Bay area and lived in LA for some time for school and work and loves both ends of the state 😊One of the biggest things she misses about LA is the good food! She is a huge foodie and is always on the hunt for great restaurants.  When she is not trying to satiate her tasting palette, she also loves fashion, the outdoors, and yoga.  Yoga is her key to life to stay centered in this hectic world!  However, she loves the fast paced energy of events, which is another reason she is so excited to be working with Be Hitched!  She is looking forward to embarking on this new journey and helping to make dreams come true for couples on their special day.
