Rebecca Pfiffner // Owner + Creative Director

Authentic relationships, good people, meaningful experiences, natural beauty, joy. These values have always been like north stars for Rebecca, and they continue to guide her both personally and in her work as an event producer. The way she approaches event design is to start by simply getting to know her clients — usually over a (delicious!) bottle of wine in her favorite neighborhood wine shop. Rebecca’s expertise (and her passion) is visual storytelling — she translates who her clients are as a couple and how they want their event to feel into a seamless, aesthetically beautiful, and unforgettable experience.  Rebecca has been called a “wedding whisperer” and “planning guru” by her clients because of her ability to help her clients really see and understand their vision.

Rebecca discovered her passion for event production — and came to realize her work with couples as the most rewarding part of her job — during her years managing the wedding rental program at one of the most beloved wedding venues in the Bay Area, Headlands Center for the Arts. She’s been planning weddings, benefits, and corporate events in Northern California since 2005. And she still wakes up every morning amazed and humbled that she gets to be a part of one of the most important days in someone’s life. It’s an honor she doesn’t take for granted.

Natalie McKee // Marketing + Event Production

Natalie was born and raised in little ol’ Alameda, CA. Leaving for a few years to pick up a degree in Marketing in LA, she ultimately missed the laid-back vibes of the Bay Area and moved back after graduating. You can find her scoping out new coffee shops, discovering new breweries and a new favorite IPA, volunteering at Hopalong Animal Rescue, rooting for the Giants from the bleachers, dreaming of new country stamp to add to her passport or snowboarding/hiking in Tahoe. Natalie has an adventurous, positive spirit, is always smiling and she truly enjoys when others are happy. She is thrilled to be working with Be Hitched this season as it will allow her to bask in the joys of a wedding while using her love of marketing to grow a brand she is so proud to be a part of!



Katie Laines // Project Coordination + Event Production

Katie has worked as an event coordinator and logistical master in many fields, including corporate tech and creative spaces. After designing and planning her own destination wedding in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico (summer 2016), she found her "wedding-hobby" had turned true passion. She is thrilled for the 2017 wedding season internship and can't wait to assist in the memory making of each Be Hitched couples' Best Day Ever! On her days off you can find her traveling the world, (her favorite so far has been Thailand), brunching, and diving deep into a random craft or activity (which typically live very short lives, not due to a lack of imagination, rather a wandering interest, which she likes to call "oh-look, butterfly" syndrome.) She grew up in the east bay area and currently lives in the city of San Francisco. While she plans to move back to the burbs one day to start a family, city life has suited the exploration of her eclectic interests very well. She is so excited to tie those unique experiences in with the wedding industry's artistic evolution.
